 *JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Experience with tractor trailer, bobcats, forklifts, material handlers and other specialty equipment
  • Inspect vehicles or equipment to identify problems
  • Perform breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance to improve reliability of equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair various production equipment.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repairs.
  • Willing to work as part of a team, with a positive safety attitude.
  • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
  • Owns and maintains the basic tools to complete repairs.
  • Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 *JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work 2 PM to 10 PM
  • 2 year technical school graduate preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy duty equipment and/or diesel trucks
  • Electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Effective Problem solving skills
  • ASE Certification preferred 
  • Engine experience on Cummins, Caterpillar, and Detroit Diesel preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time

The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch
